We are located on the corner of RanchRoad 12 and Coers Street. We offer three atmospheres: a landscaped courtyard, study, and main business area. Our menu includes coffee, specialty drinks, breakfast items, a small lunch menu, snacks, desserts, imported beer and a wide selection of wine. A list of evening activities is coming soon.

| Name: grandmasewsbest | | I was an Ike evacuee from Houston who stayed with my daughter till our power came back on. My daughter took me to this lovely coffee shop and I enjoyed it thoroughly. At first I did not know what to expect, Wake the what? Seemed like it would be a rowdy place but one step inside and I was smitten, good sandwiches, beautiful garden and the staff was very engaging. They made me feel like one of the locals right away introducing me to some local people making sure I was comfortable. I've never made so many friends so quickly. I was in San Marcos for almost two weeks and I made sure and visited this place just about everyday I was in town. It was a pleasant walk from my daughters house and I loved sitting in the garden watching the butterflies. I cannot write enough nice things and I will be back when I visit my daughter during the holidays. |

I stop in every morning and am greeted by one of the best barista in town, a young lady named Hayley. wake the Dead has the best coffee and bagels in town hands down. Sometimes for a treat I pick up a carrot cake muffin, that makes me feel like I have died and gone to heaven. |
