| Name: Chango | | Tantra's location and setting is wonderful- just south of the town square providing a nice front porch deck and very friendly staff. Tantra offers an array of unique activities one of which is the Unicycle Football League often played at the parking lot next door when the season begins. Aside from the friendly staff, my only gripes are the regulars who often hang out there are often cliquish which kind of kills the community vibe that Tantra is trying to provide, and with the amount of staff working there on some nights the place could be a little cleaner. The coffee is good and they provide a modest beer selection that is reasonably priced for what is offered. Other than the hummus and veggie wraps- the food is not that great- microwaved vegetarian alternatives that leave us carnivores looking elsewhere for lunch. Live music events are fun and often packed with beautiful hip college kids and in the know locals. I give them 4 stars what they're doing and wish them much success. |
