September 9 - 12, 2010 Dr. Fred A. Bonner, author and editor of numerous works including Diverse Millennial Students in College, his most recent title, will provide this year’s keynote address. Bonner is a professor and Associate Dean of Faculties at Texas A&M University. Featured in countless publications and the recipient of national awards, Bonner is a foremost expert on the collegiate and leadership trends of minority students. Dr. Bonner will provide participants with data supporting the continual development of leadership and will challenge each individual to use their skills to effect positive change in their environments and around the globe. This four-day event will feature a talent showcase, a gospel extravaganza featuring local and regional artists, workshop sessions, and plenty of opportunities to connect with students and the university. Some of the topics that will be addressed in the informative workshops are spirituality, mentoring, financial planning, and personal empowerment.
