Last night Grande cut service to San Marcos leaving customers without cable, internet and telephone (including 911) for six hours.

When called they offered no refund for the down time to their customers.

Class action lawsuit?

Yes, let's sue one of the top employers in town and one of the best companies I've ever dealt with.

How progressive. How community-minded. How pro-San Marcos.

Good luck with that. I love Grande. When their competitors come by or call and offer me some great deal to switch, I laugh. Customer service with Grande has always been AWESOME when I've had an issue.

I have no idea what happened with you and your outtage. They've bent over backwards for me, several times.

I agree with the positive comments about Grande. When I have had problems, they have even come out on a holiday weekend. The tech's are local and I speak with CSR's in San Marcos. I would never switch to Time Warner.

I totally agree...Grande has always been superb when I have had an issue. They are good people and they TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS (what a novel idea). I am glad to see you guys poo-pooing on the idea that we should be paid for a tiny slice of inconvenience. Semi Native, I think you are kinda mean sometimes but I am so happy with what you wrote and couldn't agree more. Happy Thanksgiving Neighbours!

Really for an outage under 24 hours? What does that work out to? A dollar or less? They should have given it to you just to get you off the line. Try calling back again.

Grande is an excellent operation and provides excellent customer service - this sounds like a small outage for such a large customer base. TW is a little lacking on all fronts...anyway, there is no such thing as 100% guarantee in the wire business. Too many folks out there with backhoes, trenching equipment and other implements of destruction!
