Sources close to the Robertson campaign said recently that Mayor Susan Narvaiz had sent a letter of apology over her quotes in the University Star.

The Mayor was quoted in the Star as saying Robertson and Bose were liars for saying at the ASG debate they were not aware of a certain task force that an audience member asked about.

However, is the Mayor now claiming that the University Star misquoted her?

The quotes the Mayor gave to the Star resulted in ASG President Reagan Pugh endorsing Prather and Porterfield. In addition the article was published around town for all to see the Mayor calling two candidates running for election liars.

Where the quotes wrong? What was in the letter of apology?

We can only hope the Robinson campaign will release it because it should be a matter of public record what the Mayor is claiming.

Bose and Robertson were taking credit for projects that had been in the works before they were elected and which involved all the members of city council. It was a little misleading.

Please name anything that Bose and Robertson were taking credit for that they did not vote for or in some way support or advance that project. Of course it takes a majority of the city council to do anything, but if you vote for something aren't you supporting it? Shouldn't you be able to say that?
