Looking through the Budget for 2009 it is proposed that the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recieve over $70k in tax revenue.

In the day of politically correctness why are we issuing tax money to an organization that gives support to busineseses based on ethnicity? I'm all in support of them on a private level but why is public money going to what some could say is a race oriented orgnization or at the least an ethnic oriented organization.

As per their website;

"The USHCC works towards bringing the issues and concerns of the nation’s more than 1.6 million Hispanic-owned businesses to the forefront of the national economic and political agenda"
