Pretty interested to see this commentary. I wonder if it was wrote on tax payer time? I'm losing more and more respect for our Police force. We have more LEO per citizen then almost every single Texas city, your surprised there might need to be cuts. Pathetic. What a shrill for the Dictator in Office.

I don't know about my fellow citizens but I want my Police force OUT OF POLITICS. Could lead to some really bad future agendas. He's lost all my respect.

Actually he made the statement from his position in the union. A technicality, but legally safe. The best rebuttle to Arredondo is David Newman's response on the "Newman wrong on law enforcement" thread, post #14.
I guess Arredondo is now a political hatchet man for the Mayor. Bigger and better things in his future?
