If you have had your head under a rock lately the Bush Administration and Congress passed through the FISA legislation. This piece of legislation gives telecom companies’ retroactive immunity for their role in the very public violation of our 4th Amendment. With their help our Government conducted unauthorized surveillance of Americans without warrants.

I don’t agree with a lot of Rep. Doggett’s liberal voting record but his vote against the FISA legislation made me very happy and should make you happy as well for standing up for the Constitution.

We should never allow the Government to violate the Constitution, ever, too bad there are not more shepherds than sheeps in Washington.
